I'll be in NP for the weekend of July 6th. I'm taking some intensive class that meets for two weekends in July and gives me 3 credits. I think the other weekend the class meets in July 20th.
I'm going back and forth on the relocating Cleo thing, but my mom says that she never wanted three cats, so I guess I'd be doing her a favor by bringing the little furball to NP. And of course, I'd be doing y'all a favor since she's such a sweetheart :)
I plan to go out soon and buy a buttload of them energy-savin, bill-shrinkin' CFL bulbs, so there will soon be a lightbulb manifesto at the house.
One last thing: Shannon introduced me to this site, Slick Deals
, where you can find a bunch of "freebie" offers. I think I'm going to partake in these offers so we can get useful free stuff sent to the house, like sundries and non-perishable food. Does anyone oppose to this?
Miss you guys and talk to you soon,
The Cheapiest Cheap that ever Cheaped

Hey y'all, would anyone be opposed to using CFL lightbulbs
on most of our light fixtures? They save tons of energy and it will help keep our energy bills tame.
Also, I'm have second thoughts about bringing Cleo up to New Paltz. When I see her and Shadow cuddling on the bed and grooming each other, the thought of separating them makes me feel sad. My proposal is that maybe we adopt a cat or kitten from the Mid-Hudson Cat Sanctuary for our house. The only question is what will happen to this prospective furry friend when the school year ends? I will most likely be in New Paltz next year continuing to pursue my Master's and wouldn't mind keeping it, but what if plans change? I know that my mom will absolutely refuse to take in another cat. Would I just have to return the cat to the sanctuary if I can't keep it?
What do y'all think? Good idea or bad idea?

You will all be pleased to know that a new second-hand alcohol piggy bank has been purchased!

I leant my ID out and I have no way of entering Lefevre tonight. I'm going to a TMBG show in Manhattan at 11:30 pm, so I'm probably not going to be back in New Paltz until ass o'clock (AKA somewhere between 3 am and 4 am). Please don't be alarmed if you get a phone call from me at such hours begging you to come downstairs and let me in.

So, I think sometime this semester Kathy's gonna throw a theme party at her place. The theme, you ask? Historical figures! Dress up as a historical figure to the party!
I think I'm gonna be Theodore Roosevelt.

Uh, so, I just found a plastic bag on the floor of the bathroom with two large lumps of mashed potatos in it.
That is all. Current Mood: amused

An entry I made in my journal almost exactly a year ago: http://leolapyre.livejournal.com/2005/03/07/
I love you guys and what you've brought into my life. There's a good chance that I'd still be wallowing behind a computer with no friends this year if I hadn't lived with you guys. This is why the decision to move off campus is such a difficult one :(

So, I have a choice between two TVs to bring up tomorrow.
The dimensions of the larger one is: 22' (height) by 24' (length) and it goes about 15' back. The smaller one is 16' by 18' and goes about 16' back.
Now, usually the larger one would be selected by default, but I'm wondering: Can the trunk that it will sit upon handle it? Is it too big? What do y'all think?

piiiiiggggg (12:33:05 AM): do you think i could get laid?
OneNakedHippie (12:44:27 AM): I think you'd get laid if you were a little bird because you'd be in a shell
OneNakedHippie (12:44:48 AM): I think little kids would want to sleep with you if you were Big Bird, but not quite in that way

Songs that need to be added to our Suite 302 Dance Party playlist:
1. "You Can Call Me Al" Paul Simon
2. "Dancing With Myself" Billy Idol
I heard them in my car today, and I just imagined us all getting down with our bad selves to them...

Hey folks- just letting you know that while I was at Target yesterday, I picked up a super-duper can opener (with a built-in bottle opener). For $10, this thing better function properly. If it fails to, I think we have every right to instigate a full-fledge, worldwide riot.
I also bought this tiny flower pot with lavender seeds in it. May it grow well on our suite windowsill! (Unless Irene chucks it out the window because she hates lavender, hehe).

Does anyone know how the mask wound up in the toilet? I'm not really angered or anything; I'm just curious and hoping to hear a fun story.
That guy on the left is Chris Kuffner, who went to my highschool, who I've played with, who I know and knows everyone I know, whose mom and sister I know, haha
On the right is Regina Spektor
!!! That's crazy. It says that the picture is with her at the Bowery, and the only show of hers at the Bowery that I can find is a March 2005 one, which would mean Chris has played with her since Soviet Kitsch! Wow. I thought he only played with her on 11:11 way back when.
I totally have to get him to introduce us to her. haha. >_<
I know a whole buncha y'allses like Regina, so I thought this would be appropriate for the community? hehe.
P.S. I am Dave Matthews Current Mood: tired
